  • ABOUT ME

All too often there is a gap identifying or obtaining what an individual needs for condition management or treatment. My heart lies in seeing to these needs being fulfilled. I approach health navigation and patient advocacy with compassion and creativity, and it is an honor assisting these brave individuals.

I understand the complexities of navigating health pathways, both as a professional and individual who has managed complex illness.

As a child, I experienced acute myelin sheath damage. In my twenties, I acquired and recovered from severe Hyperadrenergic POTS, ME/CFS, and Fibromyalgia. In adulthood, I developed a rare disease of the neuromuscular junction. I am pleased to share I experience symptom improvement with each year. I adore spending time with my husband, our two children and our families, and our beloved birds.

Since 2014, I followed the day-to-day, long-term experiences of hundreds of individuals experiencing a wide range of complex illness. My role included supporting clients implementing a self-directed neural retraining program in a professional setting. Through this work, I came to recognize the ongoing gaps many individuals with medical needs face when trying to identify and access care – which shaped the work I do today.

To best support others, I uphold the standard of practice and code of ethics defined by the National Association of Healthcare Advocacy (NAHAC). I intentionally offer accessible private-pay services so individuals and families can receive meaningful support without financial burden.

Why a Nuthatch?

The nuthatch is a delightful, unassuming bird that embodies courage, resourcefulness and adaptability – a brave soul.
