I approach health navigation with creativity, curiosity, and compassion. I will begin each collaborative session familiarized with your provided history and I will be prepared with pertinent discussion points. Appropriate care is a process shaped by your interests and preferences, the healthcare options available to you, and not so much a singular defined path. Where there are elements of choice, we have the opportunity to personalize your approach.
I am not a medical or mental health professional, so I do not make decisions for you regarding specific treatments. However, I will guide and assist you with health related decision-making. For new care concepts we may discuss, I will direct you to your providers for follow up. I strive for to you to experience clarity in your approach and assist you in obtaining care that honors your interests and preferences.
I uphold the standards of practice of health care advocacy and Code of Ethics defined by the National Association of Healthcare Advocacy (NAHAC). It is important quality and affordable health navigation is available to those who need it.
