MEET LAURENYour coach and ally

  • ABOUT ME

I am a member of the National Association of Healthcare Advocacy. Through this organization, I strive to enhance the lives of individuals while adhering to a rigorous Code of Ethics, which I uphold in my work.

My early experiences with health navigation first came through my own need for a comprehensive and personalized approach, having experienced difficult-to-treat and incurable conditions throughout my life. From age 8, my leading specialists thoughtfully suggested to me to accept “my new normals”. I was heartbroken each time by these recommendations, yet emboldened to forge ahead because I continued to realize I was not ready to give up hope yet. In my quest for targeted support and condition management as an adult, I invested significant effort and heart to investigate new care concepts and better strategize my approach. Degeneration of my condition has halted and I continue to experience symptom improvement each year.

While our health pathways are unique to each of us, I have gained a number of practical skills and knowledge that make navigating cumbersome health scenarios more fulfilling and efficient. I have been honored to support many with their health pathways through the years.

I hold past experience as a certified neuroplasticity-based coach. I have had the unique opportunity to gain insight from the daily, long-term experiences of hundreds of individuals with various chronic conditions in a professional, non-medical setting. This helped paved the way for what I do now.

Why am I a coach and ally?

When an individual needs medical treatment or other practical solutions for an unmanaged condition, my heart lies in seeing to these needs being fulfilled. As a coach and healthcare ally, I help individuals navigate medical decisions, symptom management, daily dealings, medication and supplement reviews, while building quality of life. I feel honored to work alongside individuals and witness their hope and enjoyment grow. I wholeheartedly look forward to joining you on your health pathway.

Receiving meaningful treatment is a common goal for those with unmanaged conditions, but achieving it can prove unexpectedly challenging. I understand the complications in navigating health pathways and the methods to help solve them. I wish to assist these brave individuals.
